The World Ends With You "The Animation" revealed : Square Enix

The World Ends With You, an urban fantasy RPG from Square Enix that originally released on the Nintendo DS back in 2007 and was remastered on Nintendo Switch in 2018, is getting an animation.

A website has been launched for the announcement, which shows very little aside from a count down timer and that more information will drop at the Anime Expo Lite livestream event on July 3rd at 6pm PDT over on Twitch or Youtube. Additionally, a new twitter account for the animation was also launched, with it’s first tweet linking to the website.

At this moment, there is no further information about the animation, such as details on how many episodes there will be or what streaming services to watch it on. We will just have to sit tight and wait for July 3rd to find out more!
