We are writing to inform you of an important change involving one of our projects. After many years as a NumFOCUS project, Jupyter will be transitioning to the Linux Foundation.

During its time with NumFOCUS, Jupyter has been instrumental in advancing interactive computing and data science. It has revolutionized the way researchers, educators, and data professionals work with code and data, fostering collaboration and reproducibility across various disciplines. Jupyter’s impact on the open-source community has been profound, with millions of users worldwide benefiting from its innovative notebook format and interactive computing environment.
