The AI# - The Harvard Lampoon
Welcome to the first issue in the 145 year history of The Harvard Lampoon written entirely by Artificial Intelligence (that we know of). Gone are the days of the Lampoon’s writing staff slaving away at their typewriters, struggling to wrack their brains for a new way to phrase just how funny we find the plural of penis (peniz). This issue brings you the future of comedy — a world where computers write our TV shows and comedy writers exist solely to store and process data. We fed our last twenty issues to J.E.S.T.E.R. (Joke Embedding Software Transcribing Exclusively Ridiculousness), our highly-trained, very expensive, stern (but gentle) Artificial Intelligence robot. The following pieces are what it came up with. We hope you enjoy reading these jokes as much as we enjoyed not having to write them.
