Shadowmap
Welcome to Shadowmap 1.0. This major release features worldwide buildings, as well as improved performance and camera handling. We are also introducing our offer for professionals: Shadowmap Pro.
Global buildings: We are now able to visualize buildings on the whole world – powered by available open data. Keep in mind that data quality varies depending on the location.
Sometimes buildings are lacking height information and we need to fall back to a default height (currently: 15 m). We are working on making this customizable.
For its launch, Shadowmap Pro offers full camera freedom, the ability to choose arbitrary points in time and a high quality rendering mode. Keep in mind that the latter is demanding and requires modern and capable hardware.
