I spent two days trying to get a Kubernetes cluster up and running on my home lab. I tried Microk8s, which is mostly designed for single node dev use. I tried Charmed Kubernetes, but that one really wants you to have an existing cluster running. After hours and hours of Google-ing, reading snippets of blogs to find what I needed. I guess my use case is not so common? Its just a 3 node cluster and a dashboard I can access from my laptop. Is that so much to ask? Well, I finally found a blog with what I needed.
