Little Snitch Mini makes it easy to monitor which apps on your Mac are connecting to the internet. At the heart of the app is a clear, easy-to-understand list of all current and previous network connections from all your apps and system processes – giving you a complete overview of what’s going on behind the scenes. And with just a single click, you can block any connection you don’t want.
But over time, this list can grow long. And then the question arises: Which of these connections are actually new? These are the ones you haven’t seen before – and therefore haven’t yet had the chance to decide whether you’re okay with them or would rather block them.
That’s exactly where the new “First Contact” feature of Little Snitch Mini 1.8 comes in. It helps you spot new connections without having to remember what was already there.
The “First Contact” list only shows you network connections that you haven’t seen before – such as those from newly installed apps, or first-time connections to domains by apps you’ve been using for a while.
