Welcome to the /r/ExperiencedDevs subreddit! We hope you will find this as a valuable resource in your journeys down the fruitful CS/IT career paths. This community leans towards being a specialized subreddit facilitating discussion amongst individuals who have gained some ground in the IT world.

This can widely be seen as under 3 years of experience, but by many goes up to 5 years. If you have less than 3 years of experience as a developer then do not make a post, nor participate in comment threads except the weekly Ask Experienced Devs thread.

This sub is for developers. Asking if you should ask for a raise, to switch companies, etc. constitutes general career advice, not career advice based on being a developer. This is better suited elsewhere. /r/careerguidance, /r/AskHR,

Self explanatory. This includes most equity questions, most salary questions, every FAANG question, most questions about job titles. Interview questions, questions about Leetcode practice, etc. all fall under this banner.
