I don’t know if anyone else has mentioned this, but Netflix just fired 150 people from their corporate office as well. I’ve seen some videos from one girl in particular on TikTok and it broke my heart. I know we post these things to prove our points, but at the end of the day, still really sucks because these are peoples livelihoods.
The big short movie has a good statement about it, we should not be celebrating these events, but we did not cause these problems.
then there are few more like "Too Big to Fail", "Inside Job" and "Panic" but these are fluff up pieces how bankers did nothing wrong tee hee
The documentary "Inside Job" pretty squarely lies the blame on big financial firms, and the obviously awful things there were doing.
