For rendering workloads like Blender, IndigoBench, and Appleseed, Ubuntu/Linux continues showing much stronger performance than Windows 10.

Out of 79 tests run across Windows 10 and Ubuntu, the Linux OS tested in its out-of-the-boxconfiguration was in the front 82% of the time.

If taking the geometric mean of all 79 benchmark results, Ubuntu 21.04 on this AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X workstation was 25% faster than Windows 10 for this set of workstation-minded benchmarks. Or long story short, Linux continues to perform very well on HEDT systems against Windows and that hasn't changed with the latest Windows 10 updates.
