Generally, we seem to age faster as we grew older. One of the strongest explainers to this illusion is Weber's law, which in formal terms can be described as

Simple differential sensitivity is inversely proportional to the size of the components of the difference; relative differential sensitivity remains the same regardless of size.

This may be true, I am too young to actually know, and everyone can interpret it differently - "all models are wrong, some models are useful".
