This is incredible, I can zoom in my house location and see how, because of topography, the sun sets a bit earlier for me but I can see other places afar that are still receiving daylight.
Also some cities have their buildings accounted for so that's really amazing and you can see some parts that are basically 24/7 shaded
The last piece of the puzzle is to add vegetation. It will be too hard to plot every tree but I’m hoping to identify forest “areas” and cast some intermittent shade depending on the tree density of a given forest.
TIL that people living on the West Coast would see the sun earlier than I did from my childhood home in Utah because of the mountains
