digital technology has provided us with a replication tool that allows us to make near infinite copies of a knowledge-thing; with a near-zero marginal cost. secondly, it allows us to transmit that knowledge-thing anywhere across the world, instantaneously, to a really incredible amount of people (hint: every-body).

some claim that as humans we now have universal access to the world's knowledge thanks to goOglE and all the mythical gods in Silicon Valley... yet we do not. not even close.
