A ntifa mobilizers and activists attacked Christians at a peaceful prayer and worship event in downtown Portland on Saturday, reports the Post Millennial. The prayer event featured pastor Artur Pawlowski, who made headlines this spring when he defied Canadian COVID lockdown orders by continuing in-person services at his church in Calgary, Alberta.

After a flyer circulated advertising the event, Portland Antifa groups mobilized on Twitter, with one member tweeting , “Welcome to Portland, you won’t like it here, pastor.” Antifa members then descended on the open-air event at Tom McCall Waterfront Park near the Battleship Oregon Memorial.

Antifa members donned in all black clothing, masks, and riot gear assaulted the gathering, reportedly throwing flash bombs and spraying mace at attendees. The disruptors could be heard yelling, “Where is your God now?” as they harassed the crowd.

Shield-wielding and profanity-spewing militants wreaked havoc while the Christian worshipers scrambled to distance themselves. The sound equipment for the event was stolen and tossed into the nearby Willamette River. An Antifa Twitter account claimed that the militants also stole the parishioners’ food.
