To turn on the earphones, open the charging box. The indicator on the charging box shows the power level of the earphones. To turn off the earphones, close the charging box for 5s.

1. When the earphones are turned on for the first time, they automatically enter the pairing status and the indicator on the charging box blinks white rapidly.

Press and hold the setup button on the charging box for 2s. The indicator blinks white, and the earphones enter the pairable state. On the phone, disable and then enable Bluetooth to refresh the Bluetooth device list. Select OnePlus Buds and connect.

Ensure that the earphones are within range of your phone. Once the earphones are out of range, they will lose Bluetooth connection. If they return within the range in 10 minutes, they will be automatically connected to your phone; otherwise, you need to take the earphones out of the charging box and then place them into the charging box or wear the earphones to re-initiate a connection. Such automatic reconnection is only valid in 60 minutes.

Despite whatever mode (master/slave) your earphones are in, you will naturally trigger the next track when you double-tap the touch area of the earphones. But you can customize the touch function to previous track, next track, play, pause, or voice assistant.
