We had a call with @tuyasmart this morning. They are working on an official Home Assistant integration maintained by them. The beta is already available as a custom component at https:// github.com/tuya/tuya-home -assistant/ … It connects to their official cloud API. It will replace the existing integration that they wrote, but was based on a one-off API for HA. The new API is open for all and push-based: updates are pushed to us. We will be working with them to get their integration to our quality standards and included in Home Assistant.
