Two years ago I created my first commit to the Deno repo. I refactored the CI from Travis + AppVeyor to the then recently released GitHub Actions. This was right at the start of the COVID lockdowns, when I had nothing better to do.
Over the next couple of months I picked up various little issues from the issue tracker, and participated very actively on the Deno chatroom (we we're still using Gitter at this time).
