I wrote this a long time ago, on Irix and Solaris. I was pleased to be able to get it to compile on my modern Linux machine, so now we get to see some screenshots of it running.
I made a debugger so you can see threads moving around, with their stacks growing vertically. Maybe you can see the contents of the stack. This code definitely has an off-by-one error, it looks like a thread has escaped the board here. It's very Tron, you know?pic.twitter.com/jXUWJCWWV1
I was proud of the font rendering. I used freetype to trace vector outlines from truetype files, and render them as polygons in OpenGL. I thought maybe that was better than rotating and scaling textures. It was more fun, anyway.pic.twitter.com/gUavtwU8qC
