Good Garms is a place to discover clothes made with love and care. Putting sustainable and ethical brands front and centre. We think it should be easy to find good quality clothes that don’t sacrifice the environment or the people that made them.

We pick high quality clothes from brands that put sustainability and transparency at the core of what they do. Brands that make clothes to last. Brands that care about the mark they leave on the planet. Brands that treat their supply chain fairly. We use publicly available information to make our decisions. A mix of information from the brand and from trusted third parties. We think transparency is the most important first step. We look at what they share publicly about their supply chain, internal policies, material usage, and their social and environmental impact. If we can’t find anything about their approach to sustainability — it’s usually quite a telling sign. We also rely on some trusted third parties like The Fashion Transparency Index, Good on You, and other independent standards like Fair Trade or Global Organic Textile Standard.

Some of the links through to brands websites are what’s known as affiliate links. If you buy through one of these links we will make a small amount of commission. We will always make it clear next to the link if it’s an affiliate link. The commission varies between brands. But usually around 5–15% of the sale amount. Affiliate links cover some of our running costs and help us to make Good Garms better. We never let the commission affect the products we highlight on Good Garms. We choose the best items from brands we love — then try to find paying links after that.
