Tesla Gigafactory Berlin employees celebrated on Friday as the Model Y electric SUV manufacturing plant reached the production rate of 1,000 vehicles per week on 17th June 2022. The official Twitter account of Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) announced this accompanying a picture of the employees cheering on reaching this milestone.

It has been only 3 months since Giga Berlin started producing customer delivery Model Ys for the first time at the first Tesla factory in Europe. Scaling production at Giga Berlin has been faster than most must have expected as even the Model Y building still isn’t completed 100% (latest drone video update below).

As fast as the production capacity is expanding at Giga Berlin, the hunger for human resource at this massive car plant is also growing at the same pace. Reportedly, Tesla Germany is adding 600 employees at Giga Berlin every week.

More interestingly, a graffiti painting of the Tesla Bot is painted on a wall of Giga Berlin with a variety of coded information (pics, video, and codes below).
