Ride-hailing service Uber is phasing out one of its loyalty programs, and concentrating users on another that launched last year.

Later this year, Uber will end its Uber Rewards program – the older of its loyalty programs – in favor of Uber One, which provides both Uber riders and Uber Eats customers with certain benefits across the company’s services for a monthly fee.

Uber customers will have until the end of August to earn points through the legacy Uber Rewards program, and can redeem any remaining points through the end of October.

This step marks the latest shift by the company to its Uber One program, which does not include ways for travelers to earn or redeem points, but does give them a way to save on rides and food orders alike.
