Samsung Galaxy S22 release date, Price, specs and leaks
These upgrades are very welcome. However, while our Samsung Galaxy S21 review was largely positive, shoppers didn’t seem all that excited about Samsung’s three flagship phones.
Notably, some refinement in camera performance would be welcome, as the likes of the iPhone 12 Pro set the bar high for smartphone photography over the past 12 months. The Samsung Galaxy S22 will compete against the iPhone 13/Google Pixel 6 and the new Tensor chip.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is expected to launch in early 2022. Samsung has moved the Galaxy S21 release date from February to January 29. It is not clear if Samsung will be as aggressive again. However, if Samsung keeps to the same timeframe as for Galaxy S22, January 28 will be the last Friday of January 2022.
Although there are no rumors yet about the Galaxy S22’s price, we expect Samsung to maintain the same prices as the Galaxy S21 range. We don’t expect prices to rise again after the company cut the price of all three models by $200.
