Broadcasts from a radio station believed to have been set up by the Cuban intelligence directorate have been picked up on all across the US.

The HM01 is a shortwave numbers station which broadcasts mysterious messages - some of which allegedly contain encrypted messages intended for spies - and many of its messages have been picked up all over the US by random people.

It notes: "The current HM01 schedule was developed starting in December 2012, and has not been changed since early 2015."

The broadcasts from the station consist of the 'same set of six messages on all schedules, starting at 16:00 UTC, and concluding at 10:00 UTC the following day'.

"Each one hour schedule of HM01 consists of two airings, on the hour and at the half hour, with a period of silence in between," Priyom continues.

It adds: "HM01 rotates its messages on a daily basis. When a message is new on the given slot, its counter (the last digit of the header) is set to one. On the second day, the counter is still set to one. From the third day onwards, the counter is incremented by one with each day. The day after the counter reaches eight, the message is replaced."
