Those staying at Resorts World won’t find a menu for in-room dining at the resort that opens on June 24 at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip. Instead, they can order from the resort’s 40 food-and-beverage outlets via Grubhub in a first-time partnership between the delivery app and a resort.

On The Fly at Resorts World powered by Grubhub enables customers to order and charge the cost to their rooms or credit cards via the Grubhub app for takeout or delivery to hotel rooms as well as the resort’s 5.5-acre pool complex.

Resorts World says that customers can scan a QR code or use the app to order from restaurants such as Famous Foods Street Eats with its 16 hawker stands (think sweet and spicy fried chicken from chef Marrcus Samuelsson at Streetbird Las Vegas, Googgle Man’s Char Kuey Teow with rice and egg noodles fried with seafood, or yakitori from DJ and producer Steve Aoki and his restaurateur brother Kevin Aoki at Kuru Kuru Pa Yakitori). shakes and sundaes from Craig’s Vegan Ice Cream, or a bottle of wine from Wally’s Wine & Spirits. Some retail shops get in on the action as well.

Customers who order from the pool get their deliveries at a secure, QR code-activated restaurant locker, which features touch-less opening.
