Ousted Fox News anchor Ed Henry has denied the sexual misconduct allegations against him and insisted that he be fully justified.

Henry, 48, posted a statement by his lawyer Catherine Foti on Twitter just hours after the network announced his resignation.

Lawyer Catherine Foti: "Ed Henry denies the allegations referred to in Fox's announcement and is confident that he will be justified after a full hearing in an appropriate forum," he tweeted.

Fox News announced on Wednesday that it had fired the America's Newsroom host after receiving a complaint from a former employee who allegedly accused the main newsreader of intentional sexual misconduct in the workplace years ago.

The allegations surfaced when Henry rebuilt his career after a four-month leave in 2016 over an alleged extramarital affair with a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas.
