The Wire must mournfully announce the beginning of its obituary section for those lost in the first half of the fall semester of 2024. Fortunately, nobody of note among the students or staff has passed away during fall 2024 on campus, as far as we know, and we wish those who live to keep doing so. However, we must still mourn for the lost and forgotten upon this campus of ours and give them their due respects.

The greatest highlight of which being the unused posters in your closet, never hung up again. Some of them were bought at the very beginning of the school year, while others had been with you since the year prior or further. But with the surge of tapestries among student room decor, you decided to chase a trend and with it your former decorations were left unhung. Perhaps they may see the light of day once more, but more than likely will just see the trash bin.

Also of note is someone’s student ID card that was lost somewhere and instead of finding it was replaced. It was quite obvious where it was lost, and had that someone actually looked for it probably would’ve found it. But instead they paid the price of having it replaced and making the prior card mostly useless. It is fortunately of little loss, but to that someone who lost it, a message for you… I cannot confirm or deny that I fed it to plastic eating microbes.
