MIT 24-Hour Challenge
A generous alumni donor has made a gift of $20,000 to a fund supporting MIT Open Learning and challenges the MIT community to join him in giving during the 24-Hour Challenge, with a goal of at least 500 people donating to open learning initiatives.
Every gift made to MITx, OpenCourseWare, and Open Learning on March 14 will count towards reaching our challenge goal and will directly support our mission to transform teaching and learning at MIT and around the world with innovative and accessible resources for today’s learners.
In today’s world, education requires constant innovation to support teachers and learners amid the unique global challenges we face. From climate- and conflict-driven disruptions, the continuing impacts of a global pandemic, and deep-rooted inequities that have long created educational barriers for too many, the world needs creative learning solutions from education leaders like MIT.
That’s why MIT Open Learning (OL) is on a mission to transform teaching and learning here at MIT and around the world through the innovative use of digital technologies to better equip learners of all ages to help solve the world’s great challenges.
