A lot of progress has been happening recently. The company has grown to a total of six people and several big projects are ongoing including a CNC tube notcher, a tube bender as a Camosun College Capstone project, plans for a large 3d printer, a chassis jig and significant progress on the prototype car itself including chassis, mechanical and body moulds and panel construction.

I am hoping to have chassis welding done for inspection in one month. The exterior body moulds are being finished up and fiberglass test panels are being made with chopped carbon fiber panels being tested. The plan is to make a large 80″ wide 3d printer to make the production body panels from PA66 CF so each customer car can be a custom 1 of 1 vehicle design.

The prototype vehicle has almost everything fitted together and all of the lessons learned are going into the production design being modelled and simulated using FEA tools. Design should refine and improve the production chassis to be ready for production start at the end of this year.
