I have never been fired, nor did I quit a job in a probation period. But I always make clear this issue in the interview with the interviewer: Is there any probation period?

I am sure almost all of you know what a probation period is. But before going into it deeply, let’s first know what a probation period is.

It’s like a trial period for both programmers and the company. Most companies offer full salary, but they can choose not to continue with you (they can fire you any time) during this time period. You also can quit your job during the probation period if you don’t like it.

Though the main theme of a probation period is “no commitment,” companies try to impose additional terms. It’s crucial for you to understand these terms for making decisions.

This gives freedom to both sides. The company can test a programmer, and programmers can also decide if it’s worth working in that company before committing for a long time.
