Angular 12 is out and the developers are excited, but so should the businesses whose websites built are with Angular. The update of this TypeScript-based web framework by Google was published on May 12, 2021.

Developers say that this version of Angular moves close to achieving “Ivy Everywhere”. Ivy is the channel of compilation and rendering of the next generation. In other words, it’s highly advanced and can offer features like improved page loading speed that were not available before.

The Angular team also announced that the View Engine will be removed in a future release. Current libraries are using View Engine, which will still work with Ivy apps, but the library authors have been advised to start transitioning to Ivy.

The Ivy-based language service already provides several capabilities such as code completion, moves from opt-in to on by default, and hints inside templates. Here are some of the additional features and improvements in version 12 of Angular:
