GM. This is Crypto Player One, the only newsletter you need to navigate the complicated world of web3 gaming, NFTs, and the Metaverse.

We found one of the first-ever NFT-powered animated series. It's called "The R3al Metaverse," and it's on IG, YouTube, TikTok. It's a reality TV show where all the characters are PFP (profile picture) NFTs. It has characters from BAYC, Doodles, Robotos, World of Women, Cool Cats. Each episode is 1-2 min long.

The company behind the show is Invisible Universe. Its mission is to become the next Pixar. It wants to build animated franchises by creating original cartoon character IP on social media.

The pre-mint failed to sell out, so the company refunded the buyers and said that it will reevaluate its market strategy. So the project is currently paused.

The idea behind The R3al Metaverse was simple. You buy an NFT that makes you a creative part of the project. You get to give ideas and even write scenes for the show.
