Our artificial muscles are built with cheap materials and are robust to environmental peturbations and 10X larger payloads than comparable hands. Clone’s muscles also enable a 1:1 biomimetic form factor that accelerates robotic manipulation learning time.
Clone’s proportional valves have been miniaturized (>10X smaller than Adroit Hand valves) to fit inside a humanoid torso. The valves include proprioceptive pressure feedback for each muscle, and the network topology of valves makes a daisy chain.
A battery-powered hydraulic pump, close in volume to the human heart, pressurizes the Clone’s artificial muscles while fitting compactly inside a human skeletal torso.
