Today, Mojang is set to release the highly-anticipated Minecraft Nether update on all platforms the game has released on, including PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android.
One of Minecraft's biggest – and most anticipated – updates arrives later today for the seminal block-based exploration and survival game.
Developer Mojang has already confirmed that we'll be seeing the game arrive on June 23, though there hasn't been a set time we can expect for the title to arrive on our consoles, phones or PCs.
The update is a pretty substantial one – it introduces four new biomes, four new mobs, new materials and more besides. Safe to say, the Nether Update is going to be a proper game-changer.
There has been no indication what sort of time the release will be pushed out, however it's worth bearing in mind that past Minecraft updates have been published in the late afternoon or evening in UK time.
That's because these updates tend to roll out in the morning or around midday in the US, and that results in things kicking off a bit later here in the UK and Europe.
