Samsung Launches The Serif, 8K and 4K QLED TVs in India
Samsung has unveiled its new portfolio of 2020 lifestyle televisions in India – The Serif and the flagship 2020 QLED 8K TV series. The Serif is said to go beyond the traditional concept of a TV to a piece of home decor that elevates the design of any living space.
Samsung claims that The Serif is designed to be more than just a television and double up as home decor to improve the aesthetics of the living space. The Serif has a metal stand which allows it to be placed anywhere in the room, the metal stand can be removed to place The Serif on a table or shelf. The Serif uses Samsung’s Quantum Dot Technology and has an Active Voice Amplifier feature. It is also HDR 10+ certified and can upscale everything to 4K using its AI Upscaling technology.
The Serif was designed in collaboration with the acclaimed Parisian design duo, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. It comes with a uni-body design in the shape of the letter “I”. The TVs also feature QLED panels and has built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. It comes with 100% color volume, Quantum Processor 4K and HDR 10+.
