Yakiv Pavlenko - Wikipedia
Yakiv V. Pavlenko ((1954-01-24 ) 24 January 1954 — (2024-10-19 ) 19 October 2024) was a Ukrainian astronomer and astrophysicist, researcher of low-mass stars and exocomets.
Since 1983, Pavlenko was a permanent employee at the Main Astronomy Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine [uk] (MAO NANU).
In 2022, paper[ 2] written by Pavlenko together with few other employees of MAO NANU, with the results of exocomets research and discovery of 5 new exocomets, was published in Astronomy & Astrophysics journal[ 3] [ 4] .
