I remember when I was 15, getting the book Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Till then I had not read Harry Potter because it was "too popular." I was not an early adopter.

Once I read that one though, I was hooked, and that led to a life changing connection with the wizarding world. In that case, being late to jumping on the bandwagon was worth it.

I saw crypto peak and fall. Never bought into it, partly because I thought it was scammy and partly because I was quite risk averse.

But dear oh dear, blogging. There were so many moments and so many opportunities. I never started. It is interesting to think why I didn't.

It was mostly because to do something, it had to be perfect. I had to have a blogging schedule and a huge audience. Which meant marketing, which meant reaching out. Which meant one hundred different things. It was the fear that it would all be a waste.

You see, growing up I was quite physically weak due to allergies and asthma. That made me miss a lot of classes in school. With the amount of time I did manage to go, I did pretty well, especially in a few subjects I really liked, such as Physics and English. But this made me have a strange relationship with success and starting something.
