You will be given instructions, rules for the game and questions to answer at an increasing level of difficulty. Each game – 30 minutes.
Use IFS, XLOOKUP, SUM, VBA, Power Query: anything is allowed, and the strategy is up to you. The right answers move you up the brackets!
Excel Esports is a competition where participants solve unusual game tasks in Microsoft Excel. No finance, just Microsoft Excel and logical thinking skills. Excel Esports transforms a common office tool into a dynamic sport, bringing together a global community of enthusiasts to compete, learn, and celebrate the power of Excel.
Sign up for any of the Excel Esports Battles of the season and test your skills! All battles are held online and everyone is welcome to participate in all 10 Battles of the season and the Microsoft Excel World Championship Qualification Round. You just need Microsoft Excel installed on your computer, a stable internet connection, and you’re good to go!
The top 5 participants from each Excel Esports Battle qualify for the playoff rounds. They are joined by 60 more people from the Qualification Round, 16 FMWC participants, and 2 wild cards, forming a 128-player pool. Then they compete in several playoff rounds that lead to the in-person finals in Las Vegas. If you attend The Active Cell Training Camp, you can also qualify through the Last Chance Qualification Round!
