Nintendo Museum visitors breaking rules and causing trouble for Nintendo
The Nintendo Museum is now up-and-running in Japan, and thousands have been inside to see everything and anything Nintendo has on display. While most of those in attendance have been nothing but respectful, a few troublemakers are causing Nintendo Museum employees quite the headache.
Reports have come in of some Nintendo Museum visitors breaking a pretty straightforward rule. When people enter the prototypes section of the Museum, Nintendo makes it clear that photography is prohibited. Of course, some people feel the rules don’t apply to them, so they’ve been snapping pics and sharing them on social media.
While that kind of behavior is troublesome, it also had to be expected. What’s even more of a bother is people who are unplugging controllers from their consoles. Apparently the Super Nintendo demo stations have been the main target, as some ne’er-do-wells want to see if Nintendo is running their SNES games on actual hardware or through an emulator.
It’s not clear what steps Nintendo will take to alleviate these issues, but knowing how the Big N operates, it’s not hard to imagine things getting much more strict at the Nintendo Museum in the near future.
