Developer Superhot Team is excited to announce that Superhot: Mind Control Delete, the standalone expansion to the original Superhot, is releasing July 16th. Released in early access in 2017, the game is finally releasing after three years. Even better, many Superhot players will get it completely free. All you need to do is purchase Superhot before July 16th to claim your free copy of the expansion. The developer expects upwards of 2 million free copies to go out. Details for claiming the expansion depend on the platform, but the developers put together this useful FAQ to help you out.

Superhot: Mind Control Delete offers deeper mechanics, skills and even more characters for you to control. Enemies are smarter and deadlier than ever and will require new ways to play to defeat them. The developers have spent four years polishing the experience while in early access. The new game promises “a more refined, sharper, flashier experience than any Superhot so far”. It will utilize roguelike elements and even permadeath for a different take on the Superhot formula.

Superhot: Mind Control Delete will come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac, Linux, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin, GOG, and the Humble Store). A Nintendo Switch version will arrive at a later date. Currently, there are no plans for a VR version, but this can always change in the future. Feel free to check out the trailer below.
