Note: All commands above should work when prefixing the command with the name of the interpreter, such as sh ./bootstrap.sh <c_compiler>.
A successful bootstrap is indicated by BOOTSTRAP OK in the output; if anything happens after that, the bootstrap still succeeded. The bootstrap will output BOOTSTRAP FAILED! on failure.
The build options destdir and bindir specify where the executables will be installed. Specifically, the path is destdir/bindir.
Yc is written in pure ISO C99 and/or C11. C11 is preferred, but it will build under C99 at the cost of some safety and build restrictions.
