As summer looms, we thought we’d partake in a little spring cleaning and improve the UX of the platform. We now have over 25,000 companies using Budibase Cloud and many more using Budibase open source, so the following UX improvements and new features should spark a little joy in Budibase developers.
You can now loop your automations! You can use Looping to run an action more than once by passing an array or string into it. Looping will iterate over every element of the array or every line in the string and allow you to pass that value into the forthcoming action. This opens up a lot of use cases like sending API requests for every element in an array of data or sending emails to a list of users.
Budibase Devtools allows you to see all of your components' current state and bindings and will help everyone build robust, scalable apps.
We’ve made some nice updates to the data UI to guide users more around creating new columns and rows in Budibase. We’ve also separated the table controls and disabled ones that aren’t possible based on the data you have in your tables. This should simplify the user experience when working with your data!
