This API is supported since Firefox 125. I hope that dropping support for Firefox ESR is just an untested (sic!) dependency problem and not a conscious misguided decision.

As per https://github.com/element-hq/element-web#supported-environments we only support the last 2 major versions of each of the listed browsers, for FF this means 126 & 127.

The ESR's are major versions from a dedicated branch which is important for enterprise use and security-wise. By dropping support for ESR's you are dropping Debian support.
