I'm sure it's possible, but please don't. I don't wish to support that - the only supported ways to install nvm are via git, or via the curl command in the readme.
I can't stop people from distributing software via an unofficial channel, but I can strongly discourage it and refuse to support it ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I dislike apt and have no interest in ever supporting it, no matter how easy it is to package, nor do I wish to incur the testing cost of installing with it on every release.
@ljharb It's been a while since this thread/topic has been discussed. By any chance, has your opinion on apt changed since 2015, and would you now be more interested in publishing NVM on that repo? I think it would be very useful and convenient for many folks.
