tumblelog is a static microblog and microsite generator. It creates all HTML5 files and both a JSON feed and RSS feed from a single input file that consists of entries written in the CommonMark Markdown dialect. From version 5.0.0 tags are supported as well.
tumblelog is Open Source and there is a Perl and a Python version available. Both versions are written in such a way that they generate identical output given the same output file. For an example blog check out Plurrrr.
