What-The-Cookie works by visiting the URL provided with a headless browser running custom software and scanning each domain streamed to you with DuckDuckGo's Tracker Radar.

Note that What-The-Cookie won't be able to scan all websites due to ending up hitting CAPTCHAs or Cloudflare challenges. These include, for example, ChatGPT.

What-The-Cookie is fully FOSS, and you can check out the code for yourself on Glitch. It is also a submission for Glitch's "spooky cookies" Code Jam for October 2024.

Purpose What-The-Cookie scans websites for hidden trackers using a headless browser and DuckDuckGo’s Tracker Radar. Please note, some websites may be inaccessible due to CAPTCHAs, Cloudflare challenges, or other protections.
