Recently, there's been a slate of news items about runners offering their services as "Strava Jockeys" or "Strava Mules". For a fee, these "jockeys" will supposedly go on a run and upload their running data to the Strava profiles of their clients. The clients then have higher weekly mileages and improved stats to impress their friends (or to try to keep up with them).
In short, I think the incentives for using such a service are wrong; the upside just isn't likely to be worth paying for it. So why do I think that this trend has made news around the world you might ask?
Well I too like attention, but I also know how to code! So above is my Digital Strava Jockey that I hope can disrupt its human counterparts. It is very simple and free to use:
Contact me for premium features such as: automatic BQ times and local legend automator, available for a small fee. All joking aside: know that you are pretty dodgy if you actually use this tool! You are eroding the trust of the community and possibly violating the Strava ToS, I hope you get caught!
