In recent years, Large Language Models(LLMs) have taken Artificial intelligence on a roller coaster ride. Indeed, it was a good ride. These models are primarily for language processing and generation and can generate detailed steps to follow to perform a particular task, but they take actions based on user commands and can’t take actions autonomously. Recently, Large Action Models(LAMs) have become a hot topic in the AI world. Let’s explore what LLMs are all about.
Large Action Models or Large Agentic Models(LAMs in short) can understand and execute complex tasks by translating human intentions into action. They are more interactive and action-oriented.
Usually, LAMs combine language understanding with logic and reasoning to execute complex tasks. They can understand user intentions, execute tasks like booking appointments, learn from data, explain their actions, and communicate effectively. They have vast applications in personal assistants, autonomous vehicles, robotics, healthcare, and financial modeling. They are trained on a dataset of user actions.
