A little over three years ago, LowEndTalk member @MarkLuun put together a guide to hosting providers who either offer or colocate Raspberry Pi systems.

Why host on a Raspberry Pi? It’s not just a cheap dedicated server option—it’s also a fun way to experiment with ARM systems. Some folks want complete control over their environment or need to run processes 24/7 without getting flagged by providers for hogging CPU cycles.  Sure, an Intel Xeon or AMD Ryzen will blow the Pi out of the water in terms of performance, but snagging a dedicated server for just $3.14 a month (at DataIdeas) is hard to beat.  I had a Pi at DataIdeas for a while and it was a great machine for small web sites and utility code.

In my case, I rented a Pi but if you have one, you can ship it for colocation.  Sure easier than packing up some 4U monster and hoping it arrives without dents!

Back in 2021, @MarkLuun’s comprehensive list had about 3 dozen providers – now he’s up to over 50 for colo and a dozen for rent.  Neat stuff!  If you’re curious about Raspberry Pi hosting, that list is a great place to start exploring your options.
