Quadra 610 DOS Compatible

Take the fairly popular 25 MHz Quadra 610, add a 25 MHz 80486SX-based IBM-compatibility card, and you have the Quadra 610 DOS Compatible.

Apple introduced this model to see if there was sufficient demand for a Mac with a DOS card. Production of 25,000 units was quickly snapped up by the enthusiastic marketplace, and several other DOS compatible Macs followed over the years, starting with the 630 DOS Compatible in May 1995.
