Ask, “How might I pull with you instead of pushing you?” Or, “What are your commitments today?” Dig until you find actionable responses.

Great post! Lots to think about here, and a bit to laugh about (and then quick check.. um, wait..am I confused? :D) Hard to pick but I’m going to sit with #3 for awhile today. Bet it helps even if you replace ‘persistently’ with ‘sometimes’ or ‘now’. Have a great day !

Good information to challenges us for sure! I have noticed as we understand were and how we fit and what we control, we can manicure the experiences in a sense of a controlled state that we don’t overload ourselves. The habits we develop such as let me review and get back to you for instance can re-channel to a better time to resolve. The biggest thing is prioritizing has worked for me better than pushing oneself into a” Helter Skelter” oblivion of burned out and lost control. We as humans have great capabilities once we know what we control and how we can do it, and still turn the lights out at a normal time in a sense of civility. Learn our limits and sometimes just say “no”, I will deal with this later, more important Fish to fry!

Dan this post reminds me of the adage that sometimes the best Leaders are very smart but often a bit lazy. The lazy part allows them to avoid many of your negatives: control freak, over worked etc. Brad
