For a small home server running the Windows 10 operating system, in my opinion, Transmission is the most convenient torrent client.
The main amenities are low resource consumption and the ability to work as a background service (with the ability to remotely access).
1. Download the fresh distribution from the official site - https://transmissionbt.com/download/
3. After installation - launch the Transmission Qt Client graphical shell and configure it "to taste" (including remote access parameters and login / password). These settings are saved to the file% LOCALAPPDATA% / transmission / settings.json But these settings are only for the application launched on behalf of this user.
4. To configure the service, you need to stop it (in the list of services - Transmission Daemon) and then copy the configured file from the previous point to the C: \ Windows \ ServiceProfiles \ LocalService \ AppData \ Local \ transmission-daemon folder (with replacement). After that, you can start the service.
